FEES

Traditional Ground Burial – Single Cemetery Grave: Cost $1,800

We offer in ground burial in a single grave. Burial options for the single grave are: (a) full casket in cement vault; (b) full casket in cement vault and one (1) cremated remains within a cremation container buried on top of casket; or (c) four (4) cremated remains in four (4) separate cremation containers. One upright headstone at the top of the grave and one flush marker (i.e. Veteran’s marker) at the foot of the grave are permitted. The cost includes perpetual care. 


Cremation Ground Burial Plot (Urn Garden): Cost $1,300

We offer a cremation garden for in ground burials. Each plot can accommodate two urns containing cremated remains. Only flush markers are permitted in the urn garden at a size of 1’ x 2’. The cost includes perpetual care. 


Opening Fee for Traditional Ground Burial – Single Cemetery Grave: Cost $1,350 

  • Winter Burial – at discretion of cemetery: Additional charge of $500
  • Saturday funeral (leaving the cemetery by 12:00 p.m.): Additional charge of $500


Opening Fee for Cremation Ground Burial: Cost: $700 (per cremated remains burial)

  • Saturday funeral (leaving the cemetery by 12:00 p.m.): Additional charge of $300


Receiving Vault:  Cost $200 

A lot holder is the purchaser or owner of a right of interment in a specified grave or lot within the cemetery.  The lot holder does not own the land in question in the usual sense of the word. Said plot/graves and urn gardens are to be used for burial purposes only, subject to the rules and regulations of Newtown Village Cemetery Association, Inc. now in force or that may hereafter be enacted. No sale or transfer of said plot/graves and urn gardens are valid without the written consent of the Newtown Village Cemetery Association, Inc.
